It is a natural substitute for Diamond, with a hardness ranging from 9.25 to 9.5 on the Mohs scale. This makes it the second hardest stone that occurs naturally. Additionally, its brilliance is greater than that of a Diamond, thanks to the higher refractive index characteristic of Moissanite. It works on a Diamond tester!
